The Ralph Ragazzon Award $600 was presented to Amilia Jayathlake from Saint Martin of Tours School who was accompanied by her mother Heidi. Amilia will be attending Viewbank College. Congratulations and well done to Amilia. Amilia shows her Ralph Ragazzon Award Certificate with the help of Vocational and Youth Chairman Brian Summers while Vincent Shao looks on.
Melissa Bartelt-Siladi - Pride of workmanship AwardThe second award was our Club Rotary Pride of Workmanship Award presented to Melissa Bartelt-Siladi, owner manager of Ritz of Rosanna and Cherish Boutique, both at Lower Plenty Rd Rosanna.
Melissa works tirelessly in her business and is a very proud, motivated person, who according to her staff is a great boss. She personally works 6 days a week at the shops. Melissa is also a member of The Rosanna Traders Assoc. She promotes the Rosanna precinct by personally organising all the advertising and promotions for the Christmas Fair, Spring Fair, Easter etc. She attends traders association frequent meetings at night, all on a non-paid basis ( a very tiring unpaid job). Ritz of Rosanna was nominated by Banyule Council for “Banyule best Biz Awards” and received the Runners up award.
Melissa generously supports our Club through gift donations for our Rotary Raffles, helping with fliers etc for our many fundraising activities and is always interested in the Club’s activities.
