Presidents Report 7 Aug 2019

Gail Robertson - President Rosanna Rotary club 2019-2020

We welcomed Adino from East Timor last Wednesday night – it appears he has many talents so should be a great asset when he returns home.
‘Trumpistan’ is an interesting place or at least PP Ian Bushby made it sound interesting – Thanks Ian.
We also heard from our Directors about their 2019-2020 plans – this is good practice for next weeks DG visit.
On my daughter, Kerrie’s behalf I would like to thank Ian Bushby and H&R block for the donation of pens for distribution to the school in Fiji. Both Kerrie & her partner Shara are very excited to go and to have the opportunity to give the children the gift. Thank you.

Thought of the Week:
Did you know:
➢ a group of rhinos is called a crash.
➢ Brazil covers 50% of the South American continent.
➢ Monopoly is the most played board game in the world.
➢ a hardboiled eggs spin (uncooked or soft boiled don’t)
➢ the dot on top of the letter i is called a tittle.
