The Rotary Club of Sydney NSW was selected to organise a program addressing “Economic and Community Development and Peace”.
World renowned Nobel Laureate professor Muhammad Yunus and leading business and social entrepreneurs will come together in march to make the 2018 presidential Peacebuilding Conference one of the years most inspiring events
Talks will explore the underlying causes of conflict, such as poverty, resource insecurity and poor education. The program will also explore the economic benefits of peace for business and how communities can move from peacemaking to peacebuilding. “This is your chance to hear from expert speakers, both within Rotary and beyond, on how all of us can help build peace in our world through the practical work we are doing in Rotary.” Ian said. “All are welcome so register now, bring a friend, and come to learn and be inspired by Rotary making a difference.”
