DG Malcolm Kerr
DG Malcolm Kerr spoke tonight on the RI Theme “Be the Inspiration”. A member of the Rotary Club of Cobram since 2002, Malcolm came from a rural and teaching background. Developing the Theme, he observed that the skill of Rotary was to blend a group of
individuals into a working team. The Rotary team needed to constantly review the “who, when, what and why” of their activities and develop an ethos of values, service, fellowship, diversity, integrity and leadership.

DG Malcolm then introduced his wife Jill, whose project for the year will be Rural Aid Australia. With her rural background, Jill related to a land of droughts and flooding rains and the human cost arising from the financial devastation of the present drought. Treasurer Chris noted that the Club had contributed $5,000.00 to the drought relief program organized by RAWCS. President Merle thanked all for their help and a good meeting came to an end.
