The 2019 Changeover Night was called to order by our
M.C. for the night, Florin Pintilie. he began with the toasts and Don Hamilton proposed the toast to Rotary International. Florin kept the evening flowing and under control as he welcomed President Merle Maunder to the lectern for her last night as president.

After welcoming DGE Bruce Anderson (Rotary Club of Strathmore), Parliamentarian Anthony Carbines, Banyule Deputy Mayor Alison Champion & Br. Harry Prout from the Exodus Community and other guests, President Merle presented her annual report and referenced the loss of MPHR Ruth Stapleton who will be sadly missed by all members of the club. We also lost an Honorary member, MPHR Ron Dickson. Ron was our past "Bulletin" editor and took a great deal of pride in doing this task. Merle acknowledged Valerie McLaughlan and her family for their very generous donation again this year, such donations will always be directed toward projects support by Ron McLaughlan in the past.
