Br Harry’s roots are in dairy farming near Bunbury, WA. For 46 years he has been a teacher with the Marist Brothers in Vic, SA, NSW and WA. He has also been a retreat director and has been involved in community building / welfare. He was a member of Rotary’s GSE exchange to the mid-west USA in the 1970’s. For the last 14 years he has been living with others in the Olympic Village Exodus Community, Heidelberg West helping to build relationships with local people and to engage volunteers from nearby suburbs to be involved in community building activities. Exodus now has over 50 volunteers working in a variety of activities supporting families, children and youth. Br Harry will share with Rotary members some experiences in living and working in Victoria’s 6th poorest area, Heidelberg West.
